D/G Mixolydian, hexatonic (missing 6th). Circle starts with 4th and ends with 7th.

Like the Dorian scale, the Mixolydian scale has a nice medieval flair, but is related to the classical Major scale and thus has a very positive mood. It has the jaunty soul of a gleeman and the breeze of euphoria. You can also hear this scale in the forest when the spirits of nature celebrate the beauty and the joy of life (but be cautious, they are quite shy and capricious when feeling watched). Anyway, they appreciate the sound of the handpan, and when you play it quietly it is possible they will search your company. In either way you surely find some happiness inside of you to share with others when playing a Mixolydian handpan :)
